The acca is the most fun part of a Saturday — and the pub gets none of it. Punters bet on their phones and the money leaves the room.
The blackout bans footage — not scores. Pub-Acca puts every 3pm game live on your TV as data: scores, goals, corners, cards, as they happen. Fully legal. Then it gives the acca to the pub, with drinks, deals and offers as the prize.

Pub-Acca is a free prize competition. There's no stake, no entry fee, and no cash prize — rewards are drinks and food from the venue. Under the UK Gambling Act, a competition with free entry isn't a lottery or betting.
The Saturday blackout only restricts live footage. Live scores, goal alerts, corner and card counts are data — the same as a phone app or the radio — and are fully legal to show on a pub TV at 3pm. Pub-Acca never shows footage during the window.
Venues should confirm prize-competition wording with their own advisers. Drink rewards are subject to responsible-service rules and the venue's discretion.
